The story has been told of Coral Edgar, a 26-year-old model who lured her ex-boyfriend to his death over unpaid drug debts.
She has now been jailed for life.
Coral Edgar, invited Lee McKnight, 26, to her home in Carlisle, Cumbria, on July 24 last year.
Jamie Davison, 26, persuaded her to send Snapchat "booty messages" so "he could be 'made an example of".
Lee sold cocaine and cannabis and owed money to Davison, who was a "middle-man" in an alleged £500,000-a-year operation, Carlisle Crown Court heard.
He was tied to a chair and subjected to a beating so savage that it left him "on the point of death".
Davison had organised the violence, recruiting Arron Graham, 26, and Jamie Lee Roberts, 18, as "extra muscle".
Lee was still alive when he was thrown into a river south of Carlisle, where he was powerless to help himself and drowned before a farmer found his body a few hours later.
A pathologist who examined his body said that his injuries - which included 36 separate head wounds, a fractured skull and several broken ribs – made him look like a "torture victim".
He was punched, kicked, stamped on, beaten and whipped with a riding crop belonging to Coral's mum Carol, 47, which she bought from a sex shop.
Paul Roberts, 51, admitted helping his son Jamie Lee Roberts, taking him fresh clothes after the attack and destroying blood-stained clothes.
He claimed he tried to help Lee when he saw how badly injured he was.
During the trial all six defendants blamed each other for Lee's death.
All six defendants denied murder but were convicted after a trial lasting several weeks and were jailed for a total of 119.5 years on Friday, July 30.
Coral Edgar, 26, of Carlisle, was jailed for life with a minimum term of 13-and-a-half years.
Her mum Carol Edgar, 47, of Carlisle, was jailed for life with a minimum term of 13 years after letting the killers use her Nissan Navara to dump the body in the river.
