TOPIC: USEFUL GUIDE TO PROFITABLE RELATIONSHIPS
SCRIPTURE: Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. 1 Corinthians 15:33.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Relate with people who influence your life positively and not those who influence your life negatively.
Having established previously, that relationship is key to destiny fulfilment, I will like you to take note of the following guide to profitable relationships:
i. Relate with the future in mind and not just for the moment (Matthew 4:19-20)
Relate with the future in mind and not just for the moment. To have a successful relationship, ask yourself questions like: “Does this relationship have a future? If I continue to hang around this person, will I go to heaven or end in hell? Should this person become my life partner, would he/she assist me to please or displease God?”
Beloved, when you relate, do so with the future in mind.
ii. Relate with positive influences, not negative influences (1 Cor. 15:33)
Relate with people who influence your life positively and not those who influence your life negatively. Relate with people who bring out the best in you, and not those who bring the worst out of your life.
Relate with those who turn your lukewarmness into spiritual fervency; those who assist you from staying at home on Sunday morning to going to church on Sunday morning.
Do not relate with people who ask you to taste cigarette and tell you that it will not kill you. Do not relate with people who tell you to indulge in substance abuse.
Beloved, relate with people with positive influences over your life.
Remember this: Relate with people who influence your life positively and not those who influence your life negatively.
ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Relate with the future in mind.
2. Relate with people of positive influences.
