TOPIC: THE POWER OF MENTALITY
What is planted in your mind determines what can be harvested out of life.
SCRIPTURE: For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Proverbs 23:7
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: What is planted in your mind determines what can be harvested out of life.
Previously, we saw that mentality is key to destiny fulfilment. It is what you picture that you can capture.
Today, we shall be looking at some key thoughts that reflect the power of mentality:
i. Mentality is seed for reality
What is planted in your mind determines what can be harvested out of life. Mentality is seed for reality. Vision is vehicle for destiny. What man sees determines what God gives (Genesis 13:14-15). If man can’t see it, God won’t give it.
One day, we were coming for a Morning Dew service in church and we saw vehicles lined up everywhere around the church premises and surrounding areas. Then, I told my wife, “Beware of what you see.” The truth is whether it is positive or negative, what you see will happen someday. I had actually seen the crowd in my mind before that day. Things don’t really take people of vision by surprise. They may be grateful to God but they are not surprised.
2. The mind is the factory of destiny
The state of the mind determines the state of life (Proverbs 23:7). The mind is the processing plant for the realities of life and destiny. That is why a mind in order is a future in order, and a mind out of order is a destiny of disorder. What crosses your mind determines what crosses into your life.
My counsel is, refuse to leave your mind empty. Always put a vision ahead of you and pursue your vision to ultimate fulfilment.
Remember this: What is planted in your mind determines what can be harvested out of life.
