TOPIC: THE BLESSING OF KINGDOM SERVICE
If God does not beg you to serve Him, you won’t beg Him to bless you.
SCRIPTURE: You shall serve the Lord your God and He shall bless your bread and your water… Exodus 23:25.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: If God does not beg you to serve Him, you won’t beg Him to bless you.
Previously, we saw that the blessing of supernatural supplies is one benefit of being committed to Kingdom service. If God does not beg you to serve Him, you won’t beg Him to bless you.
This fact is corroborated by the following Scriptures:
If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures. Job 36:11
Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. Psalm 35:27.
And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye anything? And they said, Nothing. Luke 22:35
Now, I want you to take note of the following key thoughts:
1. Man’s interest in the welfare of God’s House provokes God’s interest in man’s welfare (Exodus 23:25).
Your interest in the welfare of God’s House will provoke the interest of God in your welfare. God is not a User of people; He is a Raiser of people.
2. To be involved in God’s work is to be qualified for His wages (Exodus 23:25).
If the governments of the world can pay people who work for them, then Jehovah overpays those who work for Him. And things don’t happen because they are just written; they happen to you because you know them.
Therefore, I counsel you to get the revelation of kingdom service and commit yourself to total dedication to both God and His House.
Remember this: If God does not beg you to serve Him, you won’t beg Him to bless you.
